10 On 10 and a WINNER!!!

It's the 10th!

So I'm linking up with the sweet Rebekah and her fun monthly challenge:

10 pictures - in 10 hours - to see beauty in the ordinary.

Here's a glimpse into the first 10 hours of our Tuesday:

 6:00 am
My favorite time of the day.  My family is still sleeping and I watched the sun sneak up while spending some time with the Lord on our back deck.

 7:00 am
Family is still sleeping so I tinker in the garden

8:00 am
Sleeping Beauties wake up and I made buttermilk pancakes for breakfast

9:00 am
Time for chores

 10:00 am
I reward myself for doing chores by picking a fresh bouquet

11:00 am
Chased my neighbors chickens and geese out of my yard for the fourth time
Fried chicken is sounding good for dinner

 12:00 pm
Made potato salad to go along with tonight's dinner

 1:00 pm
Blew up a pool I bought at a garage sale for 2 bucks.
The slide had a hole, but the girls didn't seem to mind.

 2:00 pm
Reason # 13,458 you need an ice cream maker - mud pie

 4:00 pm
Girls still playing in the pool
I think I got my 2 bucks worth

It's been a great day!
We still have dinner with grandma to look forward to
. . . . and that mud pie for dessert!

And now time for the winner of my lil' give away.
I recruited some mermaids to help me pick a name.
Drum Roll Please . . . . . .

 WAHOOOOO!!

  1. What fun, 10 pictures in 10 hours. I'll have to try this sometime. Certainly would cause one to pay closer attention to the details of their day. Think you got the "deal of the day" with the $2 pool. Blessings!
