A Sweet Taste Of Spring

Happy Friday!

Just thought I'd share a yummy little Easter treat we make every year.
I have sweet memories of making these with my mom, and now I get to share it with my girls.

It's so easy

Basically you make rice-crispy treats, but instead of cereal,
you use chow mein noodles.

After mixing the melted marshmallow with the noodles,
ya plop down little mounds on wax paper.

You REALLY need to coat your hands with some 'buttah'

or else it will be quite messy.

After the clumps have cooled a bit,
 shape into little nests.

and then add a few chocolate eggs.

 I'm telling you,
they are scrumptious!

I may have had one for breakfast this morning.
They go really well with coffee.

 Oh, and the last step-
nibbling on all the bits that stuck to the bowl.

Yum!!

I hope you have a scrumptious weekend!

Hooray for Spring break!
