Merry Christmas!
When I was filling out activities for our advent stockings
I must have been feeling wild and crazy because I said we would make a gingerbread house.
We've never made a gingerbread house.
It's always intimidated me.
And seemed so messy.
I always imagined the frustration of frosting not holding the walls together and droopy candy.
But, I decided to try it.
For the love of the Christmas season!
I did cheat a wee bit.
I bought a kit.
So all the walls were baked for me.
And I also used my hot glue gun to fasten the walls.
Oh yeah baby, no wimpy walls in this gingerbread house.
Josh was at a meeting, so it was just us girls at the construction cite.
Kaitlyn, my future photographer, captured a few action shots.
Um . . . yeah.
This picture motivated me to do my hair today and gussy up a bit.
Yowza!
Isn't she pretty?
I am no longer afraid of the frosting mess.
We will definitely add this to our Christmas traditions.
Hope you have a delightful weekend
with plenty of sweet moments!
